Minimum group size is 8 children.

 

Program

Birthday parties normally consist of 3 stages:

1)  A choice between:

a) A science demo/presentation (approximately 30 minutes)

b) NEW! Planetarium Show (appoximately 30 minutes)

2) Food/cake, presents, etc in the classroom

3) Concluding with exploring the exhibits in the Centre 

Duration

Birthday parties last two hours.

 

Facilities

- Party room (theatre/classroom on the upper floor) accommodates up  to 20 children.

- Room is set up & available 20 minutes ahead of start-time if you wish to

  decorate.

- Science East does not provide food, but cake and/or other food

  may be brought in or ordered in and served in the party room.

- Refrigerator is available for short-term storage of perishables, e.g.

  ice-cream cake.

- Science East staff does not provide supervision of the children  throughout the duration of the 2 hour birthday party.

 

 Cost

a) Science Demo / Presentation = $10/child

b) NEW! Planetarium Show = $15/child

 

No charge for accompanying adults.

Payment due day of Party.

Ten per cent (10%) discount for Science East members

Cancellation Policy
Failure to cancel at least 48 hours in advance will result in a $40 cancellation fee. Please inform us of any changes to your booking as soon as possible. Likewise, given the many demands upon staff time, adherence to booked times (punctuality) is essential & is much appreciated!
